Our aim at Halton Holegate Church of England Primary School is
that by working in partnership with parents and the community, we
will create a happy and enriching learning environment for your
children. We hope that by celebrating their achievements, helping
them fulfil their potential, respecting their differences and encouraging
kindness, consideration and respect, we will foster self-esteem
and provide a sound foundation for their future life.
To achieve this our aims are:-
· to establish a happy family atmosphere within the community,
where our children can progress at their own speed and develop to
their full potential
· to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that complies
with the 1998 Education Reform Act
· to help develop in our pupils, lively, enquiring minds
and an ability to apply themselves to mental tasks and physical
skills
· to encourage our children to acquire knowledge and skills
in preparation for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences
of adult life
· to help our pupils understand the world in which we live
and to appreciate human achievements and aspirations
· to develop respect for religious and moral values, tolerance
of other religions, races and ways of life
The school, mindful of the values of its foundation, endeavours
to cultivate respect for the spiritual and moral beliefs of the
Christian tradition and to create a community in which pupils, cared
for as individuals, are helped to find fulfilment as they grow towards
adulthood.
We are committed to the idea of equal opportunity, regardless of
gender, race, colour or creed.
