Our School

The school nestles in the heart of the rural village of Halton Holegate. The village is about two miles from the small town of Spilsby and is within easy reach of the larger towns of Boston, Horncastle, Skegness and Louth.

The oldest part of the school dates back to 1847. This part of the building provides a large classroom, up to date computer suite, practical art and design area, toilets, and staff room. Upstairs is a resource room, office and storeroom. A fully serviced building for Early Years and Key Stage 1 is found to the rear, together with a mobile unit for Lower Key Stage 2. We are fortunate in having ample playground space and a large playing field, which is used for a wide variety of activities.

There are three classes:- Reception/ Key stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6). There are three full time teachers (including the head teacher), one part time teacher and three teaching assistants together with an ICT assistant. The school is also fortunate in having voluntary help from experts in music and speech and drama.
