| SEVEN YEARS AT HALTON SCHOOL |
| Many years of Halton school, Most of which have been very cool, All our teachers and all our friends, And all the different fashion trends. It was in the year of 98, When I walked in through the playground gate, A sea effaces all to meet, Mrs Holmes was there to greet. Many teachers have come and gone, I'll say a few lines about each one, Miss Pipes came in year two, Taught us lots of things to do. Mrs Price taught years three and four, During such time I learnt much more, She teaches recorders in her lunch break, And has to listen to the noise we make, So parents BEWARE, and cover your ears, It may be better in a couple of years! Mrs Jezzard was a good head teacher, And all the little ones love Mrs Meacher, Bikewise was led by Miss Hall, There to see we didn't fall. In year five Mrs Gleeson taught us well, To behave in class and never yell, We learnt French as a language during lunch breaks, We tried hard to remember it without too many mistakes. |
